Birthday ko po ngayon!

This is not just a famous line from Goyong’s Instant Spaghetti commercial. Birthday ko talaga ngayon and I thank God for that! It’s been another year and here I am, still alive and kickin’.
Some friends greeted me, but most of them failed to remember. Ok lang, saka tinanggal ko din sa Internet all of my birthday info para ma-test kung sino makakaalala (pasaway eh!). Saka di naman ako masyado nagbibilang ng greetings. Being a part of their lives is enough for me.
My birthday is just like an ordinary day, mas dumami nga lang nagtext compared sa ibang araw. Sanay na naman ako na ganito lang magcelebrate, I even experienced celebrating my birthday walking along the streets of Makati looking for a job. Dati naman overnight doing a paper in one of my subjects. And last last year, ayun nasa Marikina ako at nag-iinterview ng Planning Officer para din sa isang class requirement.
I really like the message of the Gospel today (siyempre nagsimba ako)… COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS! Dami ko man wishes, I’m equally thankful for what I have now. What is important is the Lord blesses me with the things that I need and not the things that I want.
